Behind the Mic: Navigating Entrepreneurship and Motherhood

As the founder and host of Founded By Women, a podcast and platform dedicated to celebrating the narratives of female entrepreneurs, I'm embarking on a new adventure: this blog. My goal is to open up about my path, sharing a candid glimpse into the experiences that have shaped me and the journey of building a successful podcast.

Opening up about my thoughts, feelings, and stories is a challenge. It's a path paved with the influences of my upbringing, cultural background, and the way I navigated life as a child and how I navigate life as an adult today. But here I am, stepping into this vulnerable space with a belief that there's power in sharing our narratives.

I've come to realize that vulnerability is not just about opening up; it's about building bridges. When we share our stories, we create connections. We see ourselves in others, and that recognition fosters a sense of belonging. It's in these moments that I find the true essence of community—a feeling of being part of something greater.

Juggling the roles of podcast host, entrepreneur, and the primary caretaker of three children, I've asked myself some tough questions:

"Will blogging effectively contribute to achieving my goals for myself and for Founded By Women?"

"With my hands full, do I have the capacity to consistently write, create, and nurture this platform?"

The answer lies in commitment and rhythm. Writing daily, even if it's just a few imperfect sentences, and publishing weekly is my pact for consistency and accountability.

This is just the beginning, and I'm excited to take you along on this journey.

Thank you for being here and Happy New Year!

With love and light,

Margie
